Oldcastle Infrastructure needed to train production line employees on a newly implemented manufacturing process — but the complexity of the workflow made it nearly impossible to convey through conventional means. Slide decks couldn’t capture the spatial relationships between machine components. Written instructions left too much room for misinterpretation. 3D Animated Training Video
Ninja Tropic created a photorealistic 3D animated training video that reconstructed Oldcastle’s production environment in digital space. Every piece of machinery, every workflow stage, and every safety checkpoint was modeled and animated to match the actual plant layout — giving employees a virtual walkthrough of the process before encountering it in person.
The 3D format offered capabilities impossible with live video: the camera could pass through machine housing to show internal mechanisms, operators could be shown from multiple simultaneous angles, and unsafe practices could be demonstrated and corrected without anyone actually performing them. The video was delivered as a standalone file accessible on floor tablets and break room screens.
